What a year this week has been … we’ve heard that a lot recently. Over the past 12-months we’ve locked down, opened up, locked down, opened, and adjusted to working from home, the office, home again! Business are adapting at the speed of light.

We’ve carried out an extensive review of our clients business needs during this pandemic and the following predicted economic downturn.

Remote Working

With everyone working remotely, the challenge in keeping data secure has become hugely complex over-night. Unsurprisingly criminals are trying to take advantage of the fear surrounding Covid 19. Email Security

In April 2020 the amount of recorded SPAM surpassed all previous records. Additional email security features (like DKIM and DMARC) are now required to communicate with many organisations, including all Governmental addresses – but these features are limited with more basic email platforms. Technology Performance

PWC reported prior to the global pandemic that the top 3 challenges for UK SME CEO’s were maintaining profit, increasing revenue and attracting new customers; the pandemic has merely exacerbated this.
