Onsite IT Support Engineer  

London based fulltime hybrid role with mix of client site, office based and remote support

Key Responsibilities and Required Skills:  

  • Microsoft 365 Support: Resolve escalated support tickets related to Microsoft 365, including issues with Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and other Microsoft 365 applications 
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix hardware, software, and network issues, both remotely and on-site 
  • User Management: Support Active Directory and Microsoft 365 user management, including security permissions and group policies 
  • System Upgrades: Assist in deploying new hardware and software, conduct system upgrades, and contribute to process improvements, with a focus on Microsoft 365 integration 
  • Network Support: Configure and troubleshoot network devices, particularly UniFi network equipment 
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of issues and resolutions, create Knowledge Base articles, and ensure documentation is up to date 
  • Customer Communication: Ensure effective communication with customers, providing timely updates and solutions within Service SLA’s 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with clients, colleagues and third parties to ensure seamless service delivery 
  • Web technologies: Be comfortable with basic HTML, WordPress and website hosting setup and troubleshooting 
  • Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to Helpdesk engineers

Preferable Skills 

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and related applications. Familiarity with Powershell, Google Workspace, Windows operating systems, macOS, and network devices from MikroTik and UniFi 
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or other Microsoft 365/Azure certifications 
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail 
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to interact with users and explain technical concepts clearly 
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently according to KPI’s as well as collaborative in a team environment  
  • Client Services: Commitment to our VIP levels of customer service and enjoy working in a busy client facing environment
