The benefits of TeamViewer
TeamViewer is a software that allows secure remote access to any device, across platforms, from anywhere, anytime. It is a fundamental part of our business as it allows us to securely connect to our clients devices so we can remotely manage their technology and troubleshot any issues.
The IT helpdesk in any organisation will use either TeamViewer or a similar software as it allows easy remote access. It can connect to robots, phones, laptops and servers to name a few. It’s pretty fab but be warned, it is not yet able to connect to the old computer above 🙂
You don’t have to be a business to make the most of TeamViewer as one of our friend’s found out recently.
Her Mum had got a new computer and she couldn’t connect to her wireless printer. Our friend didn’t have TeamViewer at this time, so the IT help call involved the Mum on WhatsApp video showing the laptop screen and the friend talking to her Mum over WhatsApp video telling her which buttons to press. Together the mighty duo managed to get the:
- Printer connected √
- Background screen updated with new photo √
- Password manager installed √
How we laughed in the office …
