Table top set up – setting you up for home working.

Many of us have been working from home for some time now, some from tables, some from an ironing board (!!!), some from their beds. With the latest advice being to continue to work from home if you can, if your desk isn’t set up correctly, prolonging poor positioning could cause issues for you further down the line. In case you skimmed over this kind of advice when it did the rounds at the beginning of all the madness, we’ve shared some excellent items that might be just what you need to sort out your workstation.

To help you sit up straight, use a laptop stand which raises your laptop off the surface and gives more desk space. Try the Griffin Elevator Computer Laptop Stand.

We recommend a proper keyboard and mouse and especially a number pad. Try the Logitech MK270 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo for Windows, 2.4 GHz Wireless.

If you need a second screen, which many of us do nowadays, Dell makes super screens. The Dell SE2416H 24 Inch FHD, LED-Backlit LCD Antiglare Monitor is both cheap and effective.

Now, for your chair, ensure that is adjustable and will provide comfort and for the optimum support – get one with arms to rest your elbows on. Swivel chairs can vary hugely in price but this is the best value one we’ve found available recently which is a Life Carver.

Finally, we hope you have a good laptop, but if you are looking for a new one, we have a limited number of Lenovo V14 (14″ Intel) laptops. Each is £842 + VAT. We recommend an hour of our engineer’s time to configure / secure it for company usage.

If you require any support to get your equipment working properly for you or you’d like to discuss any of the above, please send an email to help@techrelate.co.uk
