Operating Systems

We don’t mind if you use Windows or Mac OSX our engineers are happy supporting both environments and we often work with companies that mix the two.  See our blog on working with OSX in a windows environment.

Hardware

If we are talking about the Windows world then there are obviously lots of different hardware manufacturers we tend to advise our clients to work with the bigger enterprise vendors HP, Dell, Lenovo and Intel.  We find the support they can offer to business clients is normally superb and the product line often meets our clients expectations.

Networking

There are lots of different options when it comes to networking equipment and we regularly utilise the best in class offerings from Cisco, HP, Netgear, Mikrotik and Unifi.  If we are looking at an enterprise setup then we often find that Mikrotik’s offer the best setup as they can provide a very fast and incredibly flexible networking environment that can easily manage multiple connection options with intelligent failover between them.  We have recently upgraded over a hundred networks across London, the majority of them have been powered by Mikrotik or Cisco routers.

Some of our client have utilised our networking expertise to intelligently manage multiple internet connections with varying technology. TechReate have experience with leased line, EFM, FTTC, ADSL and 4g or 3g networks.  We have installed unlimited 4g connectivity in central London where it can easily better the network speeds seen from ADSL or the prohibitive cost that service offices demand for there connections.
